Why is Payees list always blank?

My Payees list is always blank, even though I have many entries.

This is the case both in the All Payees section of the new transaction dropdown, and when I open the Payees list from the Window menu.

I know I have hundreds of entries because the register's Payee field auto populates as I type a payee's name. Also, the Payees window scrolls as if many rows exist, though they are all blank.

    Just discovered that the first ~520 rows of the Payees list were blank, but that rows containing actual payees began after that. Perhaps it was a bug in the import from Quicken 2014 for Window to 2015 for Mac.
