Why am I unable to reconcile a loan account?

Why am I unable to reconcile a loan account? Once a year or so I want to be able
to verify that the Quicken account balance exactly matches the Bank account
balance.  Sometimes the principal/interest split numbers are off depending upon
when the monthly payment was received.  I am almost certain that in prior versions
of Quicken I was able to reconcile an account allowing me to quickly mark multiple
transactions as "R".  Now it looks like I have to individually mark transactions as
"R".  I am running Quicken 2016 Deluxe R6 on Windows 10.

It has never been possible to get a reconcile dialog for a loan account (or any Asset or Liability account).

But that does not mean you "have to individually mark transactions as 'R'".

Select the transactions to be reconciled as you would select multiple files in Windows Explorer.
    Right-click a selected transaction.
Put your cursor on "Reconcile" and click "Reconciled".

Thanks! Marking multiple items as reconciled in one operation resolves most of the issue. Now, how do I mark your response as "Recommended"?

Only an "Answer" can get graded. Try now.
