Quicken 2007 LC (for Mac) keeps crashing every time I open a specific account
I have about 20 accounts in Q2007LC and there is now one account that causes the application to crash every time I open it. While my qdfm file size is on the larger side (6.1MB) I've read posts about larger file sizes not creating any issues. I've tried creating new account and importing just some of the data which I exported from that account and it then crashes when I open that newly created account as well (I've tried even very small transaction counts).
Any suggestions on what is causing this and how to deal with it?

If attempting to access a specific account within the same data file causes the app to crash, your best course of action it to attempt to re index (it might already be doing this upon relaunch)

If that doesn't help, or you are referring to a specific data file you cannot open, then your best course of action is to restore from a backup. Or, you can attempt to delete that specific account and recreate it.
6.1 meg is not that big of file, but there are other barriers you can run into (i.e. number of accounts, categories, classes) have a limit. So, take a look at that. If my memory serves me correctly, I think you can have a combo of up to 300 cats and accounts (combined), and 100 classes before problems set in.
