@mpasad: Do you mean manual entry of security prices? This functionality was added in version 2.1, which came out a week ago. If you purchased your copy of Quicken through the Mac App Store, you may not have the 2.1 update yet, because it takes about 5-7 days for Apple to review and approve each version of software in the store. If you purchased Quicken elsewhere, you should have received an in-app notice that version 2.1.1 is available. (If you're uncertain, pull down the Quicken menu to About Quicken to see what version you are running.)
If you're running 2.1 or 2.1.1, you can edit the price history by opening the security (Window > Securities), then click on the Price History tab. you can now modify the price infer for any date, or add price history for any date. For an unlisted security, or a security you've created without a ticker symbol, you may not have any price history, but you can enter manual prices for as many dates as you wish.
@chip-51: I have no idea what you mean about Quicken wiping out 15 years of data. This seems like an entirely different issue; you should post a more detailed description in a separate thread.

Thanks Jacobs. I am using version 2.04. Any ideas on how to upgrade to version 2.1.1

Did you obtain Quicken 2015 from the Mac App Store? Intuit?

Yes, than this makes sense. As I mentioned above, programs for sale in the App Store must be reviewed and approved by Apple each and every time they are updated, a process which typically takes 5-7 days. Intuit released version 2.1.1 on Tuesday or Wednesday, and submitted it to Apple at that time. So it will probably be another 1-3 days before the 2.1.1. version shows up in the App Store and your Software Update.

Thank you for your reply. Will wait for the update to come through.
I'm having the same problem. Quicken has wiped out 15 years of data!

I've been chastised enough in this forum. Quicken 2015 has issues. I've switched back to Quicken 14 which works just fine. Maybe in a month or two I'll try Quicken 15 and hopefully someone somewhere figures out there is a bug and is able to fix it.

I don't know if you're referring to me, but I wasn't chastising you -- I simply didn't understand your post. I don't know what problem you're referring to.
