It will be interesting to see how much longer companies like Intuit even offer boxed versions with disks as the built-in disk drive goes by the wayside. Apple always leads on this stuff (as the did with dropping floppies) and I noticed that all of their latest models - even the monster Mac Pro - have dropped the built-in drive. By the number of posts we've seen on this lately, Wintel machines are following suit.
