How do I exclude foreign currency from being counted as dollars?
When I used to use Quicken for Windows I could just put the foreign currency accounts as other or exclude them from the total balance, but I could still see their individual balance. When I first started using a Mac and installed Quicken I thought I saw the option to excluded foreign currency from being counted in the balances, but I can't find that with the upgrades and even before it didn't work even when selected. Is this a bug or do I need to find an option somewhere not in the preferences? Quicken for Mac 2016 Version 3.5.2 on OS X El Capitan.

I suspect you're going to have wait until Quicken Mac, in a future version, has learned how to fully support foreign currencies just like it does in Quicken for Windows.
If I could, I would change this question into an "Idea", but that's a job for a Moderator.

The account balance still displays to the right of its name in the sidebar with its currency symbol.
BUT there are 2 issues:
- it is not a user selectable option
- these accounts are still included in the Net Worth in the the upper right corner of the All Transactions register view.
