Allow Adding the Date Posted field and Sorting by it on the Reconciliation Screen

It would be useful to be able to add and sort by the Date Posted for users that download data from FI/Banks to make the transactions line up more to statements issued.

I also highly recommend that you browse through the IDEAS section of this forum and VOTE for the request of each of the missing features to be added back into Quicken for Mac....to help direct the priorities of the developers.
To do that, I suggest you read this FAQ on how to filter the IDEAS to just show the ones for the Mac version, then VOTE to your heart's content:
https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/quicken-getsat-faq-how-to-filter-conversations-d...
The following are some of the many feature requests you will find:- List of Requests for Report Types
List of Requests for Report Related Features- Restore Transactions Downloading Acceptance and Matching workflow
Improve the Bill Reminders Graph (aka Forecast or Projected Balance)- List of Requests for Reconciliation Process
Add QuickMath functionality
True multi-currency conversion support
Loan Amortization- Budget features
- many requests for configuration options
Be sure to scroll down each page, as some contain lists of related features. Click on the link to EACH IDEA separately that you are interested in, then click the VOTE button at the top of EACH page that opens up respectively to increase the count and therefore its visibility to the developers.
If you do not click VOTE at the top of the page of each feature, your vote will NOT be counted for THAT specific feature!

BTW, it would be good if it also remembers the sort order chosen for each account.

Unless I'm missing something, this feature appears to exist in Quicken for Mac 2018 v5.6.4. Should this idea be retired or archived?
Slightly off-topic, but I found this post because I was looking for a way to download credit card transaction dates, which can be 1-4 days earlier than the posted date.
My online bank site has the transaction day data - is there a reason Quicken doesn't download it?
It would be useful to have when e.g. I'm racking my brains trying to remember what a particular purchase was for. Knowing the day of the transaction helps me because based on what I was doing that day I usually can identify the purchase.0 -
This IDEA has been partially implemented to allow adding the column to the Reconciliation Window, though it is unclear in which release, as the Release Notes do not document this. The closest reference may be in QM2017 v4.4, released Dec 2017, when a preference to use a transaction's posted date was added, as per the 2017 Release Notes.
What has yet to be implemented is the the ability to sort by that column. If you have not, be sure to click VOTE at the top of this page to have the rest of this feature implemented. YOUR VOTES matter!

The version I have, Version 5.6.5 (Build 56.22537.100), allows me to add the column, but all I get is a blacked out column(non editable or data entry) field/s).
Is there a newer version that allows data entry?0 -
The Date Posted field is a field that is only populated by the FI/Bank when you download data.artcarter said:The version I have, Version 5.6.5 (Build 56.22537.100), allows me to add the column, but all I get is a blacked out column(non editable or data entry) field/s).
