Bringing essential Quicken for Windows features to Quicken for Mac -
I have been initially using MS Money until it went away. When I switched to Quicken for Windows, each version was getting better and better. however, Mac version looks like a VERY simplified version of the Windows edition. Please integrate the ability to review the dowloaded transactions before accepting the or matching them with transactions already entered manually.
Also, it would be nice to be able able to upload bank statements and notices to a particular account. Is there a possibility to also download images of cleared checks instead of having to save them manually attach them to each check transaction?
Finally, the online bill pay feature for the banks that offer them takes way too many clicks. Quicken Windows Edition bill pay feature is much easier and more intuitive. Adding a tab or section on the left side called BillPay would be easier to find, navigated schedule a payment. You'd simply click on BillPay, select the account you want pay from, selective payee previously set up with your bank's online bill pay, and schedule the payment.

I have used Quicken for many years and am now frustrated by the missing functions in the Mac version. Tracking the ACB being just one example. In addition my Windows version would keep track of currency costs when investing in US and Canadian markets.
As for your the ability to download cleared checks, though I doubt this could ever happen as there would need to be a standard for banks and Quicken to use, and there is not right now, you could add you vote for this feature here: https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/automatic-download-of-copies-checks
You can also add your VOTE for the feature to Restore Transactions Downloading Acceptance and Matching workflow, here: https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/restore-transactions-downloading-acceptance-and-...

Meanwhile, I think most people who put attachments in quicken would deal with the types of things you've mentioned by putting them with either the relevant transaction (such as a poperty tax bill payment) or with a $0 transaction. For instance, create a transaction with Payee=Monthly Statement, Memo=July 2019, Amount=0, Category=Uncategorized and attach a bank statement or account notice to that dummy transaction. It will be in date order, of course; it will be easy to find all of them at once by searching for "Monthly Statement." (Better still, create a Category of "Statement" or "Document" and use that, so you can run a report or search for all transactions with that category quickly.) Might that work for you?
Some Quicken users prefer to create a folder hierarchy for their digital documents outside of Quicken, so they can access them in the future should their Quicken go south or they decide to stop using Quicken. (You can get the transactions out of a Quicken Mac data file, but not in any organized way.)
