Add Selection Criteria for -No Category- and -No Tag- on Reports in Quicken Mac (77 Legacy Votes)

Currently, the criteria selection only allows to include transactions with the selected categories and/or tags. If you want to include transactions with no categories or tags, you have to unselect all the others. So right now it is a mutually exclusive option.
What is missing is the ability to include transactions that do not have categories or tags on the same report. Please add the criteria for "-No Category-" and "-No Tag-" like in other versions of Quicken, as per the example from QM2007:

This option allows selecting transactions with specific categories or tags but also include those that do not have a category or tag (uncategorized or untagged).
Another way to think of this is that the report will exclude all transactions except those with the selected categories or tags, including those that are blank.

Please add an UnTagged option to the tags list in report customization in QM2017.
In QM2017, when you customize a report, if you click the ALL button in the Tags pane, you get only transactions that have some tag. Untagged transactions are excluded. This is counter-intuitive and often leads users to think transactions are missing because when they click ALL, they expect they should be getting everything with regard to tags.
Adding an Untagged item to the top of the tags list in this pane would solve this problem. It would also allow searching only for transactions that have no tag, which is currently not possible.
By contrast, in the Categories pane, there is an "Uncategorized" item. Therefore, when the user click the ALL button for categories, they get transactions with any or no category.
If you like this idea, please click VOTE at the top right corner of this page.
In customizing reports, there is a way to include transactions by tags but not exclude, why? Can this be added?
I would like to ignore some transactions with a tag 'ignore' vs having to tag every other transaction.

Voted.
In QM17 > Customize Report,
the Tag panel should be
[ INCLUDE ][ EXCLUDE ] only transactions with [ ANY ][ ALL ] of the selected tags.
The word "include" that's there now, should be a DROPDOWN to select Include or Exclude, just as we have a dropdown for Any or All.
This is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY because many transactions do not have a tag. So if we do select-all, then de-select a tag, to exclude that tag, all transactions that don't have any tags are also excluded.
Such a basic logic issue. Sheesh!!!
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Dropdown to Include/Exclude selected Tags in custom report.
That said, I must be misunderstanding something. "No tag" criteria for reports were added to Quicken Mac a few years ago.
On the Tags tab, by default Quicken selects "Include transactions with any or no tag":
But if you want finer control of including or excluding certain tags, you can select "Include only transactions with [Any] / [All] of the selected tags", and one of the tags you can select is "No Tag":
What selection do you want to make that you cannot make with these set-up options?
(Categories work the same way with the ability to include or exclude uncategorized transactions.)
To me, it seems this thread's status should be changed to "implemented"; what part of the idea/request cannot be accomplished?
