Quicken Canada Mac vs Windows

ChrisChris Member ✭✭
I'm a long time user of Quicken Home and Business (Canada).  I see there is now a Quicken Canada version for Mac computers.  I see however that while there is a Home and Business version for Windows, there is not one for Mac.  But based on the description I'm wondering if the Deluxe Mac version has all the same features and H&B for Windows?  I need to track investments and business-related expenses as I'm self-employed but don't need to use Quicken for invoicing.

Not even close.  The Mac version is working towards feature parity with the Windows US Deluxe version, and has no business features in it at all.  Investments yes, business no.

On the US side there is a "Premier" version, but that is just "Deluxe with Quicken Bill pay and priority customer support".  It is missing a lot of the Windows US Premier features.

Note the new Windows Canadian Deluxe edition is in between what was Cash Manager (now called Starter) and Home and Business.  As in the Deluxe version has the investment features that were only in the Home and Business edition before.

I'm in the same situation, self-employed and long-time user of H&B Windows [Canada]. I just downloaded and installed Deluxe Mac and attempted to transfer my Windows H&B file and it made a valiant effort (one of my checking accounts transferred completely), but alas most accounts are a mess. I don't feel like trying to find all the missing entries so will see what happens if I start from scratch. I'm glad I still have the Windows version active and backed up. I keep most of my business activity on spread sheets, so that's not a real issue with me.
