Error when trying to update RBC Wealth Management account

In Quicken 2018 Mac, I am suddenly unable to update 2 RBC Wealth Management Accounts. I get message: "Incorrect Customer ID or Password/PIN. RBC Wealth Management did not accept your log in. Please try again."
I deactivated download accounts, removed login info in Keychain, etc., and tried again several times- but the problem has not gone away.
The same login info works when directly logging into my account at RBC WM, so I know it is correct.
Finally, I had changed the account password a few days ago; however, it worked fine in Quicken until today, and as noted works when logging into the RBC website.

Direct Connect accounts sometimes use different credentials than the web login. Also, some FIs require you to complete an authorization step on their end, or will bounce the connection if they see multiple login attempts from different software clients. For all of these possibilities, you should contact RBC's tech support for their advise and help.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s0

Many people reporting this (including myself). RBC-to-Quicken transaction downloads broke sometime over the last 2 days. See this thread for a better explanation...

Interesting. The link you provided appears to be for RBC Advisors (not same as RBC Wealth Management), but it appears to be something happened that prevents Quicken-RBC XXXX log ins from occurring.Roger Moore said:Many people reporting this (including myself). In Quicken, RBC Wealth Management log in uses http://www.rbcbank.com. Clicking on that takes me to the correct website, where I can login using the same credentials that Quicken now claims is incorrect when I try to connect my Quicken account.0 -
It started working correctly today. In my case, since I had deactivated downloads in my effort to fix the problem, it asked for my login credentials, and- after inputting the same credentials that had failed, the connection was successfully made.0
