I am able to download statements to my computer, but not transactions into Quicken. I called Barclays and they said they are not compatible pre-2014 Quicken.
Barclaycard is currently not returning any error code, but that doesn't mean there isn't a problem nor does it mean that everyone posting on this Topic are using the same financial institution or product.
First, confirm the product you're using to ensure you're using one that still has online download access:
Quicken Windows - Help > About Quicken; 2013 and newer are supported for online services until 4/30/16, then it will be 2014 and newer.
Quicken Mac 2015 - Quicken > About Quicken; Quicken Essentials was discontinued on 4/30/15.
Quicken Mac 2007 - Quicken 2007 > About Quicken.
Next, determine the exact financial institution that is displayed for your account:
Quicken Windows - Tools > Account List > Edit Account > General Info tab.
Quicken Mac 2015 - Settings in the lower right corner of the account register.
Quicken Mac 2007 - Lists > Accounts > Edit.
The display in all products should show as Barclays Bank Delaware with the URL of barclaycardus.com in the Contact Info views.
Finally, determine the connection method that your account is using:
Quicken Windows - Tools > Account List > Edit Account > Online Services tab (look at the Online Setup box).
Quicken Mac 2015 - Settings in the lower right corner of the account register.
Quicken Mac 2007 - Lists > Accounts > Edit.
Web Connect Import is the only connection method supported for Barclays Bank Delaware (barclaycardus.com) for Mac products.
If your connection meets all of the criteria for your specific product, then we would need you to contact Quicken Support www.quicken.com/contact-us and provide logs and specific details necessary to resolving your current condition.
Barclays automatic download starts with an erroneous beginning balance and you can't reconcile your account. I have the same issue with other online accounts starting with incorrect balances therefore this version of Quicken is totally worthless. I'm going back to the 2017 nonsubscription version until Quicken can download exactly what is actually in ones accounts.
