cannot keep track of the price of stock in a private company on Quicken for MAC. Used to be able to do on Quicken for Windows years ago. Can only track prices for stocks that are public ally traded. I cannot believe i am the only person using Quicken that owns stock in a private company as an investor

You can enter prices manually in QMac via the Securities Window, edit the security, Price History. You can also import history in the form of a CSV file. But maybe you already knew that.

Ii did not know that. That was what I was looking for. Wonder why no one at Quicken could tell me that?

I don't know. Sometimes the community is more helpful.

When editing a security, click the Options button at the bottom. This is where you will find the CSV import option. When you click it, instructions will pop up.
