Well, that was good wasn't it? I clicked "Post" before I saw the "Description" box where I should have entered my query :-)
When I'm doing a reconciliation I sometimes need to refer to the main "Accounts" screen and see and maybe edit a transaction. I'm sure I could do this quite quickly and easily in Q for Mac 2016 (I can't remember exactly what I did) but I can't figure out how to do it in the Q for Mac 2017 Ver 4.6.8 (latest)

The reconcile and main window are separate windows, so you can arrange them on the screen however you like. First shrink down the reconcile window. You should see the main window behind it. Click the main window and shrink it down so you can see both on the screen.
However, you may be in full-screen mode, in which case it won't work until you get out of full screen. To get out of full screen, hit the Esc key, or move your cursor all the way to the top of the screen until the menu bar appears, then click View > Exit Full Screen.

RickO, brilliant - thanks very much and for the superfast response.
I’m sure that’s the solution I want. It makes perfect sense.
I’ll wait until my next live reconciliation to try it out.
If you don’t hear from me in the next couple of weeks or so, consider the problem solved please.
