Why wasn't a monthly online fee of $9.95 disclosed?
I just purchased Quicken for Mac 2015 and was not told that to set up accounts for banking there is a $9.95 monthly charge. That was never disclosed to me at purchase and I want it waived. I use this software minimally for personal use and don't need online banking through Quicken. I have that at my bank at no charge. And please can someone with a face and voice please talk to me about this? My bank has already reversed the first monthly charge and I don't intend for, nor gave permission to, Quicken to use my credit card for fees they didn't disclose.

The fee is from your bank. They just call it "Quicken Banking Fee" (or something similar) to mislead you.
There is NO FEE from Quicken/Intuit for downloading transactions.

Also, while I do have a voice and face, we are just volunteers. We don't call people.
As NotACPA noted, some banks do charge for Direct Connect access. You might might be able to choose another connection method that still allows for automatic entry of transactions, but for free. It depends on your bank. You can post what bank and one of us can provide you with the details. The system shows you are in Canada. If so, your options might be more limited.
You certainly can use Quicken in a manual entry mode. Go into each account's settings (icon lower right) and remove the checkbox from "I want to download transactions" and save. Now, manually enter transactions as desired.
It's not Quicken - it's your bank that's charging you a fee (no matter what they tell you). One of the big reasons I don't like iBank.
I cancelled the bill pay after seeing the charge and to my horror they charged me again!!!!
I have been quicken customer for last 10 years and this will be my last year with them.
