How do I print transactions for just one payee?

QuickPeterQuickPeter Member ✭✭
I'd like to print the payment transactions for one payee.  I just can't figure out how to do it?
I'm using Quicken for Mac 2017 on my MacBook Pro

I'd appreciate help please.

Can you run a report for that payee only? Then print the report.

Alternatively, select a register or register group (eg. All Transactions). Choose a date rage in the Dates filter if desired. In the search box, top right, click once, then click the magnifying glass icon. Choose Payee and then enter the payee name in the search box. Then click menu File > Print to print the register.

Another way is to open the Payees window (menu Window > Payees). Enter the payee name in the search box, then click the blue underlined number in the Uses column. When the report opens, menu File > Print.

Reports > New Report > Transaction Report.

    Subtotal by Payee. Create Report.

    Customize.

Date Range = dates you want included in the report.

Accounts tab = All. Categories tab = All. Tags tab = None. Payees tab = the single Payee you want.

Yup, that's a third method. And for a fourth method... right click on any transaction for that payee and select "Report on 'PayeeName' ". When the report comes up, click the Customize button to choose the date range you want, then menu File > Print.

Thank you very much everyone for telling me the different ways to do it.

I used RickO's "fourth method" in the end, really easy and quick - when you know how :-)

I've not used the Reports much but this has really whetted my appetite to learn more.

    Thanks again,   Peter
