move banking account to separate account

I manage a client trust account and want to move it from "Business/Property & Debt" to "Separate Accounts" so that those funds are not included in my Net Worth total.

I'm using Quicken 2017 Home and Business.

Can I move this account?

All you need to do is to go into Tools / Manage Hidden Accounts and select the "Keep This Account Separate" option for the client account.

Actually, the preferred method of handling this would be to create a new Q data file that contains that "client trust account".   You may manage it, but you don't own it, so it doesn't belong co-mingled (in any way) with your personal data.

That way, you wouldn't have to muck around with hidden accounts and the data in each Q data file would pertain SOLELY to the particular owner.
