Unable to download transactions from some financial institutions after latest Q2018 upgrade

Brought up Q this weekend which upgraded to the latest version R8.10 (for Windows). Ran One Step Update which reported OL-301-A errors connecting to 2 of of my financial institutions, Charles Schwab and HarborOne Bank. I've tried several transaction updates throughout the weekend for these accounts, but the problem persists.

Anyone else experiencing this? I did a quick search and didn't find any recent posts about similar problems.

Does a financial institution have to sometimes update their end to recognize a new patch level of Q?

I did see this seemingly related correction in the R8.10 release notes which makes me think that Q may have messed something up in the fix they made.
  • Fixed: A financial institutions download issue on upgrading from Quicken 2015 for some users.
I'm running Quicken Premier 2018 for Windows, with the latest patch level, R8.10.
