I finally heeded the suggestion to update my QM2017 from 4.6.8 to 4.6.9. After I performed the update I discovered that I had been updated to 4.6.10. So far, no problems but can anyone explain the mystery update? What did 4.6.10 fix?

I suspect it is because a newer update was released before you went from 4.6.8 to 4.6.9.  I am always a little afraid of updates so I am still on 4.6.8! Will probably take a chance soon.  I miss 2007 so much!

Susan: You didn't say what operating system you are using. I'm using 10.12.6 AND I keep using QM2007 in parallel with QM2017. In other words, QM2007 still works with Sierra.

Side note: QM2007 works with High Sierra too, with one small noted exception. See

Hi Ken,  I am also using 10.12.6 but I felt did not want to enter things twice (2007 & 2017). Plus, until recently I had an older 11" MacBook Air with limited storage. I now have a larger Air with more storage but...... The only reason I even switched to 2017 is I use Quicken Bill Pay & my banks were no longer supporting it with 2007. Also I run 2 separate files (one for business & one for personal) so didn't want to confuse myself more - LOL!  Reports & Bill Pay were both easier with 2007!
