I have multiple accounts and would like one summary report for investment return,. I know the windows version is more user friendly and provided more reporting options. The quicken for Mac reporting options are severely lacking. I hope Quicken is working to provide. I doubt if I will continue to use quicken for Mac if improvements are not implemented. Very disappointed. the sell Quicken for Mac which is like purchasing half the product compared to the windows version.
Quicken for Mac 2018 has IRR capabilities in the Portfolio View. Switch from Portfolio Value to Performance. From here you can print or export to Excel. It's not found under Reports.

Yes, this was partially implemented as an added data column in the Portfolio view in QM2017 v5.1 released in Oct 2017, as per the 2017 Release Notes.

Oh good, I'm relieved that Quicken for Mac is able to calculate IRR. However: - I see the start date can be specified for Portfolio view but I'd like to be able to specify both start and end dates. (My database goes back to the 1980's. Sometimes I'd like to see IRR over longer than 5 year periods, during different parts of the business cycles, etc.) - I'd like to be able to specify which accounts and securities to include/exclude. I'd like to be able to include Hidden securities without having to change the Hide and Show Accounts settings.

Completely agree with SVanDee! QM 2018 still has a long way to go to provide this type of flexibility that was already provided in QM 2007.

Account selection is already supported by clicking on the account you want to review or going to investing, brokerage, retirement, education and then selecting the accounts you want to include. Let's create new tickets for Start and End dates and security selection that can be voted on. I'm going to close this as implemented since the main issue of IRR capabilities has been added to 2018.

This IDEA has been implemented in QM2018 v5.1, released Oct 2017, as per the 2018 Release Notes, to allow adding a data column for IRR on the Portfolio Performance view.
