Reconciling transactions suggested improvement - hide cleared transactions

I have suggested in the past that Quicken add a button at the top of the page when reconciling that says "Hide cleared transactions."  The problem I have found is that when we have 2 or more pages of transactions, it becomes a pain to have to scroll back and forth between pages to clear each transaction.  By hiding cleared transactions, each time I clear one it will go away.  This will make scrolling through remaining transactions much less tedious.  Thanks for listening!

    Quicken for Mac or Windows?
What year / version and release?
What sort order are you using to list the transactions? By Date? Other?

For me, when reconciling against my monthly bank or credit card statement, showing the transaction sorted by Date in ascending order works best.

    Q for windows, 2018.
We have found that date works some of the time, but we also sometimes use transaction amount since we enter the transactions several days later (therefore, out of order).  It would just make things so much easier to have a cleared transaction disappear from view so we don't have to continually scroll around to find a particular one.  By adding that option with a simple yes/no box, any error can be easily cleared up.

Might sorting the register based on the Clr column help?

We have tried that before, but then the register is not sorted at all how we want for the uncleared transactions.  I've have this conversation before with someone from Q, and we just go round and round about how avoid this dilemma, but the easiest solution I have come up with is to hide the cleared transactions from view.  I have been a Q user since 1999, and this has continually been a frustration for me.  This is the simplest solution I have been able to come up with.

Is the account a manual account or do you download transactions from your financial institution?

It is a manual account.  All our accounts are manual since I did not like at all the way that Q auto-categorized my transactions.  90% of the time it was all wrong!
