Return on Short Sales is always $0

The return on short sales is always $0.  The Gain/Loss is correct.  The Return calculation should be the same for long or short sales.  Version R13, Build 26.1.13.2.  This has been a problem for a long time.  A couple of years ago I spent hours trying to explain short sales to somebody on the support phone, but they did not get it.image

And will it ever be fixed?

You do realize that you are just asking for someone's opinion, right?

So, in my opinion, in the Quicken 2017 you have, the likelihood is about 0.00001%.

I wouldn't even give a very big chance that it would get fixed in the 2018 Release of Quicken, at least not in the near term.

I base that on the fact that I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, and that it takes someone that actually understands a fair amount about short sales and all.
Quicken Inc fixes problems on a priority system, and has a long list of bugs to fix.

Still a problem in Quicken 2019.
