Quicken should allow mass deletion out of the pending downloaded transactions tab. (48 Legacy Votes)

I keep getting duplicated transactions from having to reset my account for online services. The root problem of this is that Capital One Card Services keeps going crazy and I have to do this to keep it working. However, every time I reset it, I get hundreds of duplicate transactions in the pending download tab. I know I can accept all and mass delete after acceptance but that is a very annoying process to go through. It would be far easier if I could just mass select and delete in the downloaded transactions tab before accepting them.

I'll have 5 or 10 a week. I have to delete them one at a time.
Suggestion: Offer a button to delete all $0.00 downloads at once.

In reading your post, it sounds as though you know how to delete transactions one by one. If so, please post how your are accomplishing that. thank you

That's what I'm saying.
BTW, the reset or reactivate/deactivate process is when I call support and the agents provide the steps to fix the error at the time.
Some accounts are with express web connect and some with direct connect.
" ... when are they going to add a button for 'Delete All' ....".
Based on the past: never. They attempted to do that years ago and decided against it.
" ... and make it easier for us instead of having to delete one by one?".
But it't not that hard to delete all downloaded transactions. Assuming you're talking about non-investment accounts: you do not have to "delete one by one". The technique below has been posted here multiple times.
_ Add a temporary transaction to the register.
_ Accept All.
_ Sort the register "by Order Entered" (see "Sorting Options" in the register Account Actions dropdown).
_ Select all the transactions you want to delete - all transactions starting with the "temporary" transaction you entered in the first step, through the last transaction in the register. [You select multiple register transactions just as you would select multiple files in Windows Explorer.]
_ Right-click a selected transaction and select "Delete".

When I was on the phone with tech support they said oh well it's not so bad! You try to delete 40 transactions 1 at a time without accidentally accepting a few and then rereconcile your account to find the duplicate.
Please quickly add a bulk delete function!!! It's essential if we are going to continue with these connection errors.

https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/target-downloading-duplicate-transactions
the duplicate transactions have been posted even more, and in fact it
has been pointed out many times how Intuit could fix the source of the
problem so that people don't get duplicate transactions in the first
place, and also the history of Intuit trying to put in such a feature in
a beta test and failing. So what might seem like a simple fix to you,
must not be a simple fix to them.
Interesting also that they blame citibank for the download problem when some of the accounts download but others don't.. Its been a problem since 2014 if not before
