OL-297-A with Chase

Quicken 2019, R15.18

So started getting a OL-297-A error attempting a one step update with
chase.

Tried resetting account - "Account reset failed."

So I deleted online services for Chase. Re-connected. Got a pop up
that Chase needed to e-mail or text me a code to connect. Received
e-mail, entered code. Did OSA. Transactions got duplicated. Not sure
which ones exactly, but my balance shot up by about $5k (I wish).

Restored from backup from a day or so ago. Back to original problem.

Tried reset account, no go.

So is there some way to get that I need a code sent to me? Or any
other suggestion?

Thanks.

Also getting an ol-297-a for my chase credit card accounts today (11/9/2018). I will wait for a day or so to see if the problem gets addressed.

Although they won't admit it, Chase has been updating their server's security. Chase has been blaming Quicken for the ol-297a problem. That's BS. I had to find this out from Quicken support. I had this problem for over a week and then, magically, I was able to connect again for about 2 weeks. It is now happening again and Chase is still blaming Quicken. As a Chase Private Banking client, I would have expected heads up about this frustrating situation. The only people who have been forthcoming about this is Quicken support. Their advice is to wait a few days and try again. I have considered changing banks but they are all in the "cover your ****" mode.

Same problem here.  In Quicken Windows 2017 and Quicken Mac 2017.

See this announcement on upcoming server maintenance this weekend:

    https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/new-11-8-18-chase-upcoming-maintenance-11-10-11-...

Don't know if today's issues are due to it, but it definitely won't be any better this weekend.

Same here.  Chase says no problem.  Getting a server timeout.  Somebody at Chase needs to wake up.  This is terrible.

That doesn't sound right. When I removed and re-added the account, I was able to connect after I got an authentication code.

Yup.  Thats what my log is saying.  This is a chase problem.  But they will not admit to it.

I tried your suggestion. I removed then re-added the account. I received a verification code. Then got the following message: "(Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)" I guess they started repairs a day earlier than they told Quicken. And, BTW, Chase still denies that there is a problem and says to call Quicken. Sorry, been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. I'm not going to waste any more time. I'll wait till Monday and try again.

For now anyway, QFX downloads are still available from Chase website during the OFX server maintenance outage.

After I got the verification code, it worked, but then got tons of duplicate entries.

I just keep checking the link for OFX server to see when it is back online (https://ofx.chase.com/).  As of 12:18 pm mountain time 11/9/18, still down.
