Auto-renew fails

My account is setup with auto renew - but it fails
Quicken will no longer conduct online updates.  Quicken now displays a pane within in Quicken showing "Oh no!  You're missing out.   Your connected services have expired.  You can no longer download data from your banks, credit cards, or investment accounts. . . . "
When I go to quicken.com and review my account - auto-renew is active and a current credit card is listed on file.

How is someone supposed to renew?  The Quicken account website is so convoluted and their support phone number isn't active?

What is the expiration date of the subscription?  If it is about a year in the future, you are renewed, if not contact Quicken Support .

If you are renewed, then go to Preferences and login as a different user (use the same one, you just need to log in & out), it should refresh the subscription information.

    Hi @ David Mackay ,

There is no need to Sign in as a different User to fix what you are seeing.

Since everything looks fine at your Account @ https://www.quicken.com/ ,

Simply Open Quicken. Click Help, then click Check Membership Status. It is fast and easy.

Afterwards, click Help then About Quicken.

No, it's not quick.  No, it's not easy and it still fails.   Well, It was worth a try.  When I log in to quicken.com it shows auto-renew on.  When I go to quicken application I click on help - check membership status - it claims everythihg is expired.  So I click on the "renew" button the pops up and enter the credit card information into the purchase window (same credit card that is recorded in auto-renew).    I click submit.   I go back 30 minutes later and everything still fails to work and quick doesn't update.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

When did your subscription/membership expire?  You may have had incorrectly entered your CC information initially.  If you just updated your CC info now, and everything is correct, then it might take a day or two for the purchase to go through.  I agree with splasher .  I think you need to call Quicken Support, on Monday.  He gave you a link with contact information in his comment.  They should be able to confirm if your renewal has gone through.

If they are able to confirm before the next business day, that that is a quicker option.

Have you considered not being able to automatically renew could be a "blessing"?

The automatic renew will be a full price, where as you might be able to get a better price at one of the retailers like Amazon or Walmart.  Note that you can shop for either "Quicken 2018" or "Quicken 2019" they at both the same thing now that it is a "membership".  You would be given an activation code which you can use to extend your membership.

Thanks for  all the suggestions.  I spent 55 minutes in chat with support - they were unable to resolve.    Chat suggested phone call support on Monday.     Purchasing at a retailer at a better price is best suggestion yet.  Thanks all.
