Accept all matches after download of transactions for account

When processing downloaded transactions, there are options for "Accept all", "Accept", and "Done".  But when the list is long, and many of the transactions match, it would be nice to have an "Accept all matches" to clear them out of the "Accept transactions" list, so that it becomes easier to find the ones that didn't match, and process them appropriately.

How often do you download?  And how many transactions come through?

Unless you download once a month or you have a very large transaction load, I don't see how this is an inconvenience.

If you download infrequently, maybe you might want to change that to a more frequent schedule.

Yes, I understand your response. I actually download transaction daily (except sometimes I miss a day or two).

The feature I suggest is useful in two circumstances that I have encountered: I have one bank that only releases transactions at the time of billing (approximately once a month). I have bugged them about that, but that is the way it is for now.  So that is one of the circumstances.

The other circumstance is when running Quickn on a tablet with a small screen. Even a couple days worth of transactions can be "long" in that environment.

How do you get Quicken to run on a tablet?  Windows Surface or Surface Pro?

And as you've guessed...scenario 1 is a bank issue.  Scenario 2 isn't what Quicken was devised to work on.

A tablet is just a Windows computer with a smallish screen. Quicken worked fine on smallish screens back in early versions, so I take issue with your comment regarding it not being devised to work on smallish screens. You may be unaware of tablet computer products that run desktop versions of Windows, other than Surface, but they exist.

While Scenario 1 is a bank issue, it exists, too.

In the Downloaded Transactions tab area, have you noticed the "Hide Accepted" button?

    From Quicken Help:
    Click the Hide Accepted
button to remove transactions from downloaded transactions list as they are
accepted into your register. This helps with readability. After clicking the
button, its name changes to Show Accepted, which you can
click again to restore the transactions to the list, if necessary.

That button does exactly what you are suggesting.

That's nice, but it is not exactly what I'm suggesting.  I'm suggesting an "accept all matches" button, that would also do the Hide Accepted, after accepting the matched items.

Given Hide Accepted, assuming I find it, my "Accept all matches" suggestion wouldn't have to do the hide accepted feature as it would just be one more click.

So the Accept button accepts just the highlighted transaction? and Accept All accepts everything that's been down loaded? If that's the case, I'm with Glenn. If I accept all but 2 transactions because I need to research them, I'd rather they not be moved out of Downloaded Transactions tab until I'm ready.

MY logic says I should be able to have matched transactions automatically accepted, and the inability to do so is annoying.
MY logic also says I should be able to have transactions from a specific "Payee" also automatically accepted.
