Run a Banking Transactions report for all accounts and include all dates to verify the status of your transaction entries.

Ok, created new account (yes, my previous one did have a space), did all administrator hoohah, updated Quicken, restored with my backup, made a copy and transactions disappeared again.

You might try the oldest backup file that you have available.

I tried one from end of previous year. Was able to copy it. YAY! Still had same totals. Double YAY!! Tried another backup from end of November. Was not able to copy it. No yay. Still had same totals though. Triple YAY!!!

    What now?

So far I have been able to get a stable file from mid October 2018. Able
to archive it and I guess just reenter 3 months of transactions. Good
thing there wasn't extra spending in any of those months (whoops,
    Christmas).

Thank you everyone for your generous sharing of your time and expertise!

    Happy New Year
