Budget Report not Showing dollars and cents

I have been a user of Quicken 2007 (MAC) for many years, new to Quicken 2019.  In Quicken 2007 (MAC) there was a report I used used all the time: "Budget Summary" report  that showed dollars and cents.  The Budget Report that compares actuals to budget does not show exact amounts ($n.nn). It rounds to the nearest dollar.  Is there anyway to have it display the actual amounts?

Sorry John  I had to stop using the new quicken for mac series ( I bought 2017) because I can't budget for transfers.  I still use QFM 2007, but manually.  I can't answer your concern.  Somehow I have been flagged as a support user on this Forum and I don't know how to cancel this designation.

John, I suspect that there is so much data on the budget screens and reports that the developers decided that rounding to a whole dollar amount would help readability.

I'm not a heavy budget user, but to the extent I use it, my budgets are not so precise as to need cents. What could help your idea request get more traction with the developers is if you could post your use case why doing budgeting to the penny is important to you. Specifics like that can help developer understand an issue from a perspective they may not have considered or been aware of.

Apparently you can show the cents on the 12-month view of the budget, just not the 1-month view. have you tried that?

I was finally able to "turn on" the "cents" once I identified the "tool symbol."  I find this version of Quicken very frustrating, since it is so different from the Quicken Mac 2007 version.  Unfortunately I can't go back since when I upgraded to the MAC 10.14.02 and Quicken 2007 stopped saving my database.  So on I go!  Thank you Quicken MAC community for your very timely responses.  I am sure I will have more questions in the next few months as I try to figure this version out.  Anyone have a recommendation for a "how to guide" for Quicken MAC?

    Glad you figured it out.

BTW, if you are good with QM2019, keep going. But QM2007 does work on Mojave... the issue you ran into is that any built-in backup and file copy features are compatible on drives formatted with the new APFS format. The solution is placing both the data file and backup files on a HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) formatted drive or partition. You can read more here:
