Amazon Card Payee Match Statement

quickishquickish Member ✭✭
I have an Amazon Store Credit Card set up in Quicken for Mac.

The problem is that every transaction in Quicken for Mac simply shows the Payee as Amazon

When i click on the detials for any transaction, I can see the specific payee. Quicken refers to this as "Appears on your statement as ..."

How can I get this info to populate the payee field for all the Amazon Store Card transactions?

If you enter the transaction before it downloads, then it will always have the correct payee. Otherwise, you'll probably just have to live with it, since that's the way it's downloading.

I don't know what this about.  I did not make any such request.

I have a possible solution, but need to know what version of Quicken you are using and Win or Mac?

    Try this:

Select one of the transactions, then menu View > Show Inspector. At the bottom of that window, does either the "FI Payee" or the "FI Notes" field there have the info that you want to show in the Payee field?  If so, then

For "FI Payee", right click on the transaction and choose "Revert To Downloaded Payee Name".

For "FI Notes", right click and choose "Copy Downloaded Note to Payee Name".

For both, right click and choose "Merge Downloaded Note and Payee to Payee Name".

You can select a bunch of transactions at once (shift-click), then right-click on any one of them to perform this action on all of them at once.

BTW, you can make those two columns visible in the register so you can see them all the time. Menu View > Columns.
