Quicken Deluxe 2017 vs Deluxe 2019 - reports and budgeting

I have been trying to bring in the budget function with no luck(need an annual budget to compare against YTD income & expense report. I spoke with a Quicken rep and told him the Windows version had more options on how to report against the budget . The Mac version only allows us to export to cvs/excel files and then run a report. He promised to take this issue to the update team and have similar functionality that the Windows version  and would be available in January 2019.

I think you were misled. First line support would not know when new features or fixes could be completed and they should not imply that any feature not already publicly announced will be released within any specific time frame.

Can you describe in more detail what you are trying to accomplish with the budget?

The Budget in Mac version does not work. Much too cumbersome.

I just switched from Window Deluxe to Mac Deluxe and I don't see how to run a report that compares actual income/expense to budgeted income/expense.  This is a pretty basic function.  Am I missing something or is this truly not available?  Thanks!

If there is such a report (using Mac) I haven't found it. I have mentioned this several times and have been ignored every time. The budget process in the Windows version is far superior.

I would be thrilled if we could get the 1 month budget to show expenses in the expense area and not in the income area.   The whole thing is totally unusable - someone went out of their way to set up something that is totally dysfunctional !
