why when restoring a file Quicken asks to be allowed to see my contacts

Trying to restore from backup, because accounts got hosed up again.  Quicken asks for access to my contacts. I have never seen this before. Anyone experienced this?  Latest Mac OS/Quicken 2019. Capital One is the FI

    Now that is weird.
    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

    If it is asking to access your Mac's System Keychain, yes, that is normal. That is where encrypted passwords reside.

    No, it isn't asking that, Quicken asked to access my contact list, not the keychain. A big difference.

    No, it isn't asking that, Quicken asked to access my contact list, not the keychain. A big difference.

    When I have to restore from backup again (which will occur soon, the way Quicken has been acting lately), I will see if it happens again.
