Sorting in reconcile, including late transactions in reconcile

I'm having two pesky problems with Quicken for Mac 2005.1) I like to sort transactions by amount when I reconcile. I can't figure out how to do that--anyone know?2) Transactions in the register with dates after the statement close date don't appear in the reconcile window. I see no reason to be perfectly precise about transaction dates, but it makes it a real pain to reconcile if you entered the wrong date by a day or two, and when you go to reconcile, you can't see the transaction.Does anyone have suggestions? Do the upgrades (2007 or 2006) address either of these issues? Thanks,

Guess I'll post again when 2008 is released to see if it's fixed then. It's funny that Quicken 2000 on Windows didn't have either of these limitations (or had both of the features I'm asking for, however you want to put it). I guess this is one case where the Mac UI isn't as nice as for Windows.
  • I have moved from Quicken for PC to the on-line MAC 2019 version.  Most functionality remains the same, but one feature that I find very annoying is the loss of the ability to sort during reconciliation.  I sort by date, deposit or check number columns during the process.  It makes it much easier for me to reconcile to the statement.

Is there a way to sort that I do not see?  All I see offered is ability to sort by date column.  If not perhaps you can add this to your list of future enhancements.
