I can't seem to get the tax links correct for my Roth IRAs.

In the tax reports, the distributions show up as taxable.  Some help appreciated,

Thanks Mark

When you created the accounts, did you select Roth IRA?

@Mark Man What Q product are you running? And, what Build/Release of Q?  You can find this info by doing HELP, About Quicken.

Brand new version 19.  Just tried again to look for the Roth option and still can't find it. So yes I do want some help.

When you set up an IRA account it never gives you that option. It goes out and loads in the brokerage data and that is it. Yes I did look in help and didn't find anything.

Sorry don’t have a better answer. What would help is if someone could answer that has done this before. It is probably really easy and something in a set up some where.

If you keep rejecting answers, I'm not sure how much help you will get.

Dr. Bob thanks for trying to send me to some one else. I hit no because when you put together an online type account IRA you don’t get that last option. I was trying to access an E*TRADE quicken type IRA etc. I have 4 accounts and when you hit connect it goes out and finds all four. One is an IRA one a ROTH two brokerage. The accounts appear to have zero classification except for taxable. Once the accounts are created there seems to be no way to change their type.  I tried changing the in out accounting classication but I couldn’t find a ROTH type.

Is it possible that Quicken missed an interface window into its accounting? It is beginning to look that way to me.  Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks so much for your help.

Rocket thanks I will give it roll tomorrow. I have several Roth accounts about 6 so it will take me a little time but will go forward. Now is there a way to let Quicken know they need to make a change?

    Mark

Thanks to Rocket and Dr. Bob.
