The default location is:
your user Library>Application Support>Quicken>Documents
To get to your user Library, in the Finder hold down the Option key while you select Library from the "Go" menu. (The Library folder is hidden by macOS by default.)
You can change the location of your Quicken data file at any time using the File>Move To… command.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19937

Assuming we're taking about current Quicken for Mac, go to menu File > Show "filename" in Finder. Alternatively, you can command-click the filename at the top center of the main window to see the file path.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s1
