When one of my Options holdings expire worthless, what Action should be chosen?

If I BOUGHT an option and then it expires worthless, is remove shares, sell shares for $0???

KO obviously you did not read my comment above. However, i located the error and corrected the issue.
Quicken should have an Action called Options Expired or some such.

Why create a new action, when Sell At $0 does what you need.
And " is remove shares, sell shares for $0???" is incoherent.  KO replied with an answer anyway.

I finally deleted the buy and sell transactions and entered them manually. Problem solved.  It appears the problem occurred after an upgrade to the Quicken software obviously had a glitch.

You didn't mention any problem you were having.  Just asked what to use to record it.  I think you were missing the word "or" between remove shares and sell shares.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

Or perhaps he meant, "Is remove shares the same as sell shares for $0?"
