I can verify this. It was failing a week or two ago. Fidelity fixed it and it worked for a while. This morning the same issue is back.

I am having the same issue, starting on 6/14/19. OL-293-A errors when trying to download my multiple Fidelity Investments accounts. This issue is new to me, I did not have this problem earlier this month or in May. Using Quicken 19, Version 19.44, Window 10.

Also not downloading on Mac. This is getting to be a regular thing with Fidelity.

Error OL-293-A, yes...again. Seems to happen every Friday or weekend...for the last 3 weekends or so. Hope it gets fixed soon...and permanently. Has been working ok by the Monday following the error.

Sorry, but you'll just have to wait it out.  It's a Fidelity error ... and Q can do nothing about it.

This is getting really annoying. I suggest everyone write/call Fido to complain - three times in three weeks is way too often!

Fidelity errors again OL-293-A, OL-301-A. Why does this keep happening?

This is becoming almost a normal thing for Fidelity with these 2 error codes across 5 of my accounts. Why does it keep happening?

I've approached Fidelity 3 times but haven't had a response.

Yep, Fidelity has screwed up again ... and ONLY Fidelity can fix this.

    "Why does this keep happening?"
Because Fidelity keeps screwing up ... and repeating the same mistakes.
ONLY Fidelity can fix this ... so we just have to wait.

I just contacted Fidelity. They confirmed that their servers are down for maintenance and that they expect the servers to be back up by 5pm Eastern Time Sunday.

This has got to be a record...
Well, it's a record for Fidelity screw-ups ... but I've seen a LOT worse in the years that I've been on this forum and it's predecessors.

I haven't had a successful download from Fido since 5/21because I only look at Q on weekends. I guess that means I'm screwed if Fido shuts in down every weekend. This is ridiculous.

It's not just Quicken that can't talk to Fido. I allow my Morgan Stanley account to display my Fido accounts, and here's what it shows currently:

Dave Mayer, I can understand a maintenance excuse once in a great while, but it is a repeated and chronic issue with Fidelity. I had asked Fidelity for advance notice, which should be easy if it is truly maintenance of the servers. That's why I feel it is more than that.

This is an annoying nuisance. I've been updating on weekends for years.

Count me in.  Got OL-203-A this morning.  Downloads worked last night for me.
Probably another weekend upgrade gone wrong.

Definitely annoying. In terms of expressing displeasure, Fidelity makes it hard to find the "send a secure message" feature on fidelity.com. But here it is, if interested: https://servicemessages.fidelity.com/ftgw/amtd/email/compose

Same here. I really just wish Fidelity would give a bit of warning that they're doing work and downloads to Quicken won't be available for X amount of time.
  • Tony LuersTony Luers Member ✭✭
So far Fidelity has not responded yet to me. I looked back in my messages and saw that this happened twice last month on the 26th and 31st, now the other day again. It would just be nice to know why and maybe a warning or alert from Fidelity if they are doing something.
