Why can I not see the closing balance for Projected Balances? (Q Mac)

Hello I go by the projected balances ALOT. I just switched from a pc to a mac. On the mac I cannot get a column for the closing balance under the projected balance tab. Is there something I am missing?

I use the Projected Balances view a lot myself.
This view combines all of your scheduled transactions together from all accounts, and this is why you won't see a closing balance amount. A final balance in this view wouldn't make sense.
There is the Cash Flow graph at the top that you might find useful. It certainly becomes more accurate the more transactions you schedule.5 -
Note that there is a difference between the Projected Balance feature in QWin vs QMac. In QWin, all the projections are plotted separately for each account selected where as in QMac they are all amalgamated into only one plot. So for QWin, it makes sense to have a column for closing balance but not in QMac.
That said, you can add your VOTE for Running Balance under projected income.
First, click on the underlined link above to go there, then click the little grey triangle under the VOTE count at the top of page 1 in the blue banner, so your vote will count for THIS feature and increase its visibility to the developers by seeking to have the features you need or desire end up in the latest version (it may take a few seconds for your vote to register).
While you are at it, you may want to add your VOTE to related IDEAS found on the
List of Requests for Bill Reminders (aka Scheduled Transactions) and Graph Features (aka Cash Flow Forecast or Projected Balance). Click on the underlined link, then follow the instructions to add your vote to more related ideas.
