principal.com 401k and BofA HSA accounts do not link

New to quicken. On a mac. I've been trying for several day without success to get 2 accounts to link.
A. principal.com (401k)
Error: Quicken makes a secure connection to Principal Financial Group in order to download your account information. Quicken is having a problem connecting right now
B. Bank of America - Health Accounts - (https://myhealth.bankofamerica.com )
Error: Server Communication Error
Do either of these work for others?

@huntcourt I had the same issue with Principal and worked with their support team on it. It turns out, Principal only supports automatic downloads for Investment accounts. For employer sponsored 401k accounts, you have to download a transaction file from their website and import it into Quicken.
You can do this by going to your Principal.com account and signing in, clicking the "Overview" tab, then selecting "Account History" from the menu that pops up. From the "Account History" screen, you should see a button that says "Download Transactions." It then gives you the option to select the date range, and what format you want to download them in (Quicken 05 and newer).
Once the file downloads, in Quicken you'll go to the File menu > Import, and choose "Bank or Brokerage File" and select your downloaded file. It will then set up the account in Quicken for you and import the transactions. Not as nice as having the transactions automatically download into Quicken, but it's the only method Principal supports for employer sponsored 401ks. Hope that helps!
