quicken 2017

Every time I open Quicken 2017 I get the following error message: "You have exceeded the maximum number of datasets. You cannot create a new dataset or continue to perform your currnet task at this time. Please contact Quicken Support......".....Is this because I have data going back to 2015?

    But then I just click "OK", and I am able to enter more data to my Quicken accounts on my desktop.

    Are you syncing to Mobile / Web apps?
    AFAIK, there's a limit of 500 files stored on the Sync server ... which, IMHO, should never be reached, except when a bug rears its ugly little head.
    Please contact Quicken Support so they can fix it on the server for you.

    How many Quicken data files of file type .QDF do you have in the folder that contains your active Quicken data file?
    Can you please capture one or more images of the parts of your Quicken window showing the issue, sensitive information blacked out as necessary to protect your privacy but annotated to describe the situation, and attach the image(s) here?
    The Windows Snipping Tool (available with Windows 7 and up) can be used to capture a partial screen image and save it to a file.  Microsoft Paint can be used to annotate the image.

    Please create image files of type PNG, JPG or GIF only.
    To attach the image here, start composing your reply in the "Type your comment" box at the bottom of this webpage. Drag and drop the image or, at the top of the text entry window you'll see a row of icons beginning with B I S
    Click the "Attach image" icon (the one that looks like a tiny landscape with mountain and sun). It will allow you to select and upload the captured image file(s) from your computer. The captured image(s) will be inserted at wherever the cursor is located in the text.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding this issue, although I apologize for any frustration you may be experiencing. 

    The error message displayed is a known issue with Quicken 2017. There is a Support Article that covers the topic, and it does require that you contact Support directly in order to resolve.

    However, I was able to locate your Quicken account with the email address used for your Community Profile and was able to confirm the error that you're receiving. I then reached out to my internal resources, who performed the steps needed to resolve this.

    Please try once again to open your Quicken file and let me know how it goes.

    I have the same problem ("You have exceeded the maximum number of datasets." I am using Quicken 2017 for Windows with Windows 10. I am not using any Sync or Mobile Services, nor am I using the cloud. I would be eternally grateful if Quicken_Natalie could use the email used for my Community Profile (removed personal email) and her internal resources to have this issue resolved.
