Moving 2019 Q for mac

Next week I'm taking my current iMac that has Q 2019 running it into Apple and transfer everything on to my new mac running Catalina. Will current Quickens transfer over?
Or will I have to re install it on my new computer??
If I need to install on new computer, please provide information on how to do it so I can have a smooth change over.

I believe the migration assistant should move everything, but not totally sure as I've never done it this way. Maybe somebody who has can chime in.
The app will be no problem. You can always download it again from quicken.com.
Your data file, if in the default location, is buried inside the user Library folder and it's possible the migration assistant might miss that. To be safe, I'd create a backup and save it somewhere outside the computer (eg. thumb drive).
In fact, I'd recommend making a backup of the whole computer before you head to Apple. Get and inexpensive external hard drive with capacity at least as big as your internal drive. Get Carbon Copy Cloner and make a clone of your hard drive. That way you will be sure you have everything backed up. It should also let you startup from that drive if you later discover you have some 32 bit programs that don't run on Catalina. You may need to run such a program one more time to export its data for import into a new program in Catalina, for example.
