Share balance won't update

After updating a share balance on the account page, the new share balance will not update on the investment holdings page.

What version/release of Quicken are you using? You can find that by going to Help>About Quicken. Also, please see this FAQ for details on adding more information to your post so that other Community members are best able to assist you.
Do you download your account activity directly from the financial institution, or are you tracking the account by hand?
I suggest first checking for any placeholder entries that may be contained within the account, by following the steps outlined here.
