Quicken screen is blank

I opened Quicken today for the first time in a while. It went through an update but now I can't get the program to open. Program shows in the task bar but on right click the screen is blank. I rebooted the system and tried opening the program directly from the C:drive instead of the Windows bar but same problem. When I close the program from the task bar it asks if I want to back-up. I said yes and it appeared to back up the program. I tried opening the backup but same problem.

    If you haven't rebooted Windows since you installed the latest software update, please do so now and then try Quicken again.
