I would like to change the current default data file location.

in New to Quicken/Getting Started (Mac)
I have searched for where I can change the default location of my Quicken for Mac data file. Currently I have to drill down about 5 folders. Any suggestions?

    You can easily move the location of your current Quicken file by clicking menu File > Move To in Quicken. 

    Another option is to leave the file where it is, but instead drag the Quicken icon at the top center of the main window to the right/bottom end of the dock for quick access to open that file.
