Is there a way to categorize dividend transactions as 'Qualified' or 'Non-Qualified'

Dividends are reported as Qualified or Non-Qualified in your 1099 year end tax statements. Qualified Dividends get more favorable treatment with regards to the tax rate so it would be nice to be able to report the two types of dividends accordingly.

You certainly can use the Qualified Dividend Category if you wish, though until the 1099-DIV is actually issued the split of any particular dividend paid to you is somewhat uncertain. Probably the easiest way to do this is after receiving the 1099-DIV make a 12/31/XX entry to reclassify the amount received that year.
