Help! CSV Export Opens As One Column in Excel

Hi - I only do this once a year at tax prep time and every year I have an issue but forget the solution or workaround from prior year. I have tried to export various reports for 2019 to csv but when I "open" them all the column data is in one column instead of separate columns. I need a Category Summary or Tax Schedule that I can open in Excel and manipulate to send to my accountant. I am using Quicken Premier 2020. Version 5.14.3 for mac os 10.14.6 Thanks,

I'm not sure why you're seeing that behavior. I don't.
But, if you are using the Category Summary report, that is not recommended. It is an old report that is being deprecated. I'd recommend trying the new Transaction Report (menu: Reports > Create Transaction Report) and see if that works better for you.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
