Cloud Backup [edited]

I recently deleted some Quicken backup files accidentally. It took me hours to put back some of the files. If Quicken had a cloud backup it would save a lot of trouble.

You can direct your Quicken backups to be stored in iCloud or Dropbox if you wish. (New subscriptions come with 5 GB of storage on Dropbox for a year, but I believe it's free only for the first year.)

Alternatively, I'd suggest that every Mac user should be using Apple's included Time Machine software for backups. Whether it's your Quicken data or your photos or music or other documents, every user needs a reliable, automatic backups. For $100 or less for an external hard drive, you literally just have to turn it on and it handles everything.
