I'm using the US version of Quicken for Windows subscription desktop program and just experienced a similar problem....
@smayer97 thank you. I did indeed see that. However it happens that I cannot download a QFX file from that particular bank as that service is not offered. I came up with another fix on my own which I just successfully completed. I created an account, selected CAD as its currency, and named it "Chequing new". I then highlighted all of the transactions in the "bad" account, and selected "move" and moved them to the "new" account. Lots of clicking "OK" to get them all entered! Just four transactions required manual edits to fix them - they were transactions where I had wired funds from the USA into the Canadian chequing account.
