I manually download my banking information to my MAC. Then I used to click on the MAC download and it would update in Quicken. Now it forcing me to login into my Quicken account. Why, when I keep NONE of my account information online.

You have to login to your Quicken ID to verify your subscription is active and allow access to Quicken Connected services utilities.
Even though you downloaded the transaction file to your Mac, Quicken has to verify that your particular transaction file is from a supported/partnered ban before it will allow it to import. It doesn't mean that your transactions are being stored online.
If you have mobile disabled, I wouldn't worry.5
