Where are my older transactions, after upgrade?

I upgraded to Quicken MAC 2020. After I connected to the bank and updated my account it only shows transactions for this year and December of 2019. How do I get my older transactions from the rest of 2019?

    What version did you upgrade from? Did you import the previous version's file when you upgraded?

    I upgraded from 2017. There was not an option to import. Did I miss that opportunity. I have a back up but when I click on it, expecting it to open in the new program...nothing happens.

    I was guessing that was the case. It sound like you only got the most recent download, which is generally limited to 90 days.

    When you started a new file, you should have seen this screen which lets you continue from your 2017 file:



    At this point, you can click menu File > New to get this option then import your 2017 file and start from there.
