Balance in checking acct Balance seems to show a cumulative amount, not the actual balance

Recently moved to Mac from Windows. The balances in my checking account just seem to show a cumulative amount, not my actual bank balance after each transaction. I did not have this issue yesterday. The amounts I show for each trxn are Deposit, Payment & Balance. The balance at top of register is correct. What is would show as an example is:
(starting bal=100)
Payment 25.00
Deposit
Balance -12,550 (whereas it should show 75.00)
(starting bal=100)
Payment 25.00
Deposit
Balance -12,550 (whereas it should show 75.00)

First, make sure the register is sorted by date. That could be the problem.
If that's not it, then search the register (search box, top right) for "Balance Adjustment". If you find a Live Balance Adjustment transaction, that could be the problem if it is incorrect coming in from Windows. You can just delete it and if needed, create a manual balance adjustment to make things reconcile properly.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
